“It takes a village to raise a child” - African Proverb

Let Courtesy Counts be a part of your village. Studies show that children seem to be more receptive to etiquette instruction when it comes from a nonparental figure. We want to be a part of your village to reinforce what is already being taught at home and teaching what is not.

Courtesy Counts Youth Etiquette Programs provide students in grades 4 through 8 an overview of important topics in etiquette designed for children and preteens to make

them feel more comfortable and confident in any social setting. We deliver our curriculum by appealing to all types of learning styles.  Through hands-on activities, direct instruction, case studies and role playing scenarios, students will have fun while they learn the importance of manners and everyday etiquette.  Participants receive an Etiquette Manual which includes take home social assignments and supplemental reinforcement activities. Upon completion, students receive a certificate of achievement.

Courtesy Counts offers customized etiquette and leadership programs and workshops to schools, organizations and after-school programs serving children and preteens.  Each workshop is 2 hours long and the number of workshops in the program is determined by the client.
